This was a great read. One of the biggest frustrations I've always run into with privacy is that when confronted with the level of privacy invasion we're subject to -- most people consider this to be unavoidable, or a price paid for convenience.
Pretty deep shit and thought provoking. Writing on a pretty advanced level too. I think a fair number of folks out there have given lots of mental bandwidth to some of these concepts individually, but I'm not personally aware of anyone tying them together so neatly. For what it's worth, Adam, found you via your post in the substack writer's facebook group. That damn technology! It keeps luring us back in!
I like the separation of the three paths and the recognition that one can ~mix~ them for an optimal route.
On your second point, there’s some interesting privacy crypto projects that make transactions untraceable. Monero is my favorite, but zcash/firo look promising.
